Business Process Review and Improvement Consulting
In many businesses today there is often over reliance on spreadsheets and reports being produced by employees and Managers as a key requirement of the business. Often the critical business performance factors relating to safety, cost, quality and time are not being influenced and improved by the reports and spreadsheets as the information is not being utilised effectively. A business process review will identify quickly where your business is inefficient.
One definition of a business process is a "set of logically related tasks performed to achieve a defined business outcome." However in many businesses processes are not being followed or have become cumbersome over time and an independent review will analyse what is adding value to your day to day to business as often the end goal has become lost in the process.
There are several identifiable methodologies for process improvement, with probably the best known being Six Sigma. Our experience in implementing Six Sigma within a non-manufacturing environment has identified that these methodologies can be cumbersome and costly to implement, with long payback periods on investment. Our Business Process Review and Improvement (BPRI) service utilises the tools that experience has found work best in a non-manufacturing en purposefully avoid the use of jargon and over complicated analysis that does not help in changing your business performance for the better.
80twenty provides an independent Business Process Improvement Review (BPRI) that assesses the efficiency and effectiveness of administrative, financial and operational business processes, and ensures that effective monitoring systems are in place to measure your business performance against the critical outputs.

The BPRI Model
To meet the need for 'quick hit' process optimisation, 80twenty has developed a Business Process Review and Improvement (BPRI) mechanism, taking the basic principles of Process improvement, and implementing them in a way which is cost effective for the business and ensures employees can continue with their 'day' job whilst it is being undertaken.
In the 6 stages highlighted in the BPRI Roadmap We deal with each problem at a time implementing sustainable and tangible improvements, we recognise that it is vitally important that the initial scope for improvement does not attempt to 'change the world'; historical data highlights that short shaping steps towards improvement is the most effective way to improve.
